Services Gone Free During COVID-19
Small-midsize businesses, education institutions, medical services and you can potentially benefit from some of these services being given away by companies in response to COVID-19.
Not our typical type of post. But then again, it’s not a typical time. We’ve compiled this list off the back of using some of these services ourselves. Have others to add? Health, Wellbeing & Fitness
📌 Wellbeats: Free virtual fitness subscriptions to employers until April 30
📌 BalanceApp: Meditation audio app offering a completely free one-year subscription to Balance to anyone who wants it. Email access@balanceapp.com to request. (Website, for more info about the app)
📌 Headspace: Offering all US healthcare professionals, who work in public health settings, free access to Headspace Plus through 2020. They also state they are “working to find ways to support healthcare professionals around the world.” Headspace is one of the most popular mindfulness and meditation apps.
Business / Technology
📌 Microsoft Teams: If your organization is licensed for Office 365, you already have it. But we want to make sure everyone has access to it during this time. Here are some simple ways to get Teams right away.
📌 Zoho Remotely: we have decided to share our remote work toolkit, Remotely. This is a suite of communication, productivity, and collaboration software tools that we are offering free of cost until July 1, 2020.
📌 Box: Offering 3 months free of its secure file sharing and collaboration platform.
📌 Mindhive: Mindhive will begin rolling out complimentary Mindhive Premium+ and onboarding packages for organisations (enterprises, schools, universities, governments and NGO's) globally until 1 July 2020. Provides online collaboration tools for organisations to bring together all parts of your network and staff together no matter where you are.
📌 Pronto: Pronto is now available for teams at no cost during this time. Pronto is a frictionless communication hub that connects people via chat and video so that they can work effectively from anywhere.
📌 Techsmith: Offering free access and expanded usage of tools that help enable business and educational continuity. Our screen recording tool, TechSmith Snagit, and our asynchronous collaboration platform, TechSmith Video Review, will be free to use through the end of June 2020 to any organization that needs it.
📌 CloudFlare: Cloudflare is offering free seats of Cloudflare for Teams for small businesses through September 1. Cloudflare provides a scalable, easy-to-use, unified control plane to deliver security, performance, and reliability for on-premises, hybrid, cloud, and SaaS applications.
📌 TransientX: Offering no-cost TransientAccess subscriptions to companies that are in need of enabling employees to work from home. TransientAccess is a zero-trust network access (ZTNA) solution, enabling enterprises to allow access from 3rd party users and vendors without increasing risk of a breach.
📌 Drawboard: Offering three months of Bullclip for free. Bullclip lets your team mark up and annotate documents in one central space with your team.
Non-Profits & NGOs
📌 Dropbox: Offering free Dropbox Business subscriptions for a three-month period to nonprofits and NGOs that are focused on fighting COVID-19
📌 Asana: A free one-year subscription to Asana Business for nonprofit organizations that are new or current Asana Basic customers. Asana is a work management platform teams use to stay focused on the goals, projects, and daily tasks that grow business.
Medical & Health Care
📌 CareApp: Free access to the platform and local support team through to 30 June 2020. By sharing photos, video/audio, as well as notices, events, and newsletters, CareApp provides a personalised and reassuring window into the care and wellbeing of loved ones
📌 StatNote: Rolling out a 4-month free trial on StatNote PRO annual subscription with access to over 1,000 dot phrases and templates. StatNote helps complete your medical documentation in no time.
Education
📌 Loom: As of March 12, 2020, Loom Pro is free to all verified teachers and students at K-12 schools, universities or educational institutions who are using Loom for classroom work. Loom is a video recording tool that helps you get your message across through instantly shareable videos.
📌 Kahoot: Education institutions can get free access to Kahoot! Premium to empower distance and online learning and engage students anywhere, anytime. Teachers, students, businesses and parents all use Kahoot! for group learning, e-learning, distance learning, and self-study everywhere!
📌 Twinkl: To support all Australian teachers and parents due to COVID-19, we have made Twinkl Ultimate completely FREE for one month. Enter the code AUSTRCODE for immediate access! Twinkl is the trusted home of teacher-created planning and assessment materials and teaching resources aligned to the Australian Curriculum!

📌 Ecree: Due to COVID-19 school closings and the increased need for online learning tools, Ecree is offering all students free access to our interactive writing assistant software until May 31, 2020. 📌 SmartMusic: For schools impacted by COVID-19 closures who do not already have a SmartMusic subscription, we are offering free access through June 30, 2020. SmartMusic is a web-based suite of music education tools that support efficient practice, helping musicians to develop and grow.
📌 WootMath: Offering free access for all teachers due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) through the end of the 2019/20 school year. Woot Math can help your students continue to learn math from home.
📌 Zoom: temporarily lifting the 40-minute time limit on free Basic accounts for schools affected by the Coronavirus. Zoom is a popular video conferencing app.
📌 Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe is making temporary at-home access to Creative Cloud available until May 31, 2020 for schools and colleges who currently have only lab access for students, at no additional cost.
📌 Coursera: Coursera for Campus will be available globally at no cost to any university impacted by COVID-19. Build skills with courses, certificates, and degrees online from world-class universities and companies
